I dance because it is my “passion”. My older sister told me “passion” means something you love a lot and makes you smile. She is in University so she knows a lot.   I don’t know if “passion” is the right word. I only know that I can’t stop myself from dancing. I don’t even think about it.   To my sister, science is her life. When I see her, she is always doing science things like studying and working. I know that I am a small kid, but to me dancing is everything. Dance is part of who I am. Before bed my Mom tells me stories of people who do amazing things. In American Dance Awards in Mississauga, I told a Silly Tale on stage and won first for my age group. My teacher says a tale is like a story. My tale made every one laugh, especially my Mom, and it made me very happy.   Some of my friends got to be super heroes like Spiderman and save people in their dances. My sister told me that sometimes all you need to save someone is a smile. I want to be a dancer so I can make people smile. For a few minutes, I can let them borrow my “passion”.
